Pure tone noise is made with audacity "Generate Tone" This album uses Sine wave tones.

Sets of frequencies are chosen for their relationships then arranged in time. As it has always been however with digital audio generation the quality of the music is completely different from the playing of an instrument which is always done in a given place and time but audacity open source gem that it is is no instrument and i fear this noise knows no context and is left to a solitary shambling through empty space and emptier time.

John Cage knew this was coming but do you think he could have prevented it? Would he have tried if he suffered under the delusion that this was possible to avert?
